Score at the Hejfina sale! I bought... A.P.C. 70's jeans (but in a lighter, more 70s shade) & A.P.C. striped top (but in a light beige color); both were essentially half off!! Plus I found a fabulous pair of Charles Jourdan wedges, and 70's purple patterned button up from Crossroads. Today was a good day (:

I finally saw Jarvis! And yes, it was everything I hoped it would be and more - ineffably awesome! His new songs are, of course, fucking fantastic.
Chk chk chk's (!!!) performance was insane and nearly caused a riot, I've never been thrashed about so hard in my life - but all is well as I needed a good thrashing! I highly recommend seeing them live, it's quite a unique experience.
I'm counting my days until I see Jarvis Cocker in concert for the very first time - 1, 2, 3, 4...at the Pitchfork Music Festival (no sniggering please I'm only going to see Jarvis...okay, okay, and maybe a few others.) Anywho, I thought I would celebrate with a clip of Jarv at the Mighty Boosh Festival. The clip, of course, would be far more exciting if Noel Fielding & Julian Barratt had actually done the interview, so just ignore the obnoxious pseudo-journalist and listen to the sheer brilliance that is the Yorkshire accent!

In literary works such as The Voyeur (1955) and Jealousy (1957), this nouveau romancier delighted in patterned descriptions of nature so plastic as to appear at first reading entirely devoid of any subjective point of view or psychology..."
