I'm typically not a fan of internet acronyms; they're indolent and a little ridiculous. However, in this case it is absolutely warranted. Allow me to elaborate on the wonderfully eventful and gloriously lucky week I've had...1-This past weekend I went camping with my significant other in the middle-of-nowhere in the north of Michigan. The site - lucky us - was completely vacant; the Manistee River and vast woods all to ourselves.
2-I've actually been hired by Chanel.
3-I won an ebay bid on a rather elusive issue of Purple Fashion magazine (the one with Vincent Gallo wearing a Balenciaga dress on the cover and an extensive Camille Bidault-Waddington shoot).
4-I just discovered that Camille Bidault-Waddington is in the new Gap campaign (plus they're selling a very Jarvis-esque blazer for Fall).

have yet to see camille's GAP ad in the mags but when i do it'll be plastered to my inspiration wall! she's one of the few stylists whose work as well as personal style i admire and relate to.
